Roy's became a dad!

Scouting For Girls frontman Roy Stride was in for a shock and a half today when his wife Michaela Strachan, didn't even get up out of bed, entered labour! And with her 'ooohs' and 'ahhs', it was definitely clear something had cropped up, and at that time Roy had just stepped foot out of the shower when his mind went into overdrive. Before he could ask what was wrong, Michaela shouted: "Roy, I'm in labour!" "Baby's coming now!" Roy, like a shot, grabbed his mobile and phoned his bassist, Greg, who at the time was on the way to the Torvill & Dean training rink, currently practicing for the next live show. But Greg had to later re-think that when he had Roy shouting down the phone, "Michaela's in labour! Take us to hospital please?!" In a mad dash, Greg dashed from the training rink to Roy's house, helped Roy get wife Michaela to her feet, and in the end she got to the hospital, all in one piece, and at quarter past two, Roy became a dad as Michaela gave birth to a baby boy, weighing in at 3lb 7oz. Congratulations, Roy!
