Yet another idea (and I know I've done this before) was to make flapjacks, whether plain or containing chocolate chips. Mind you, the recipe was on the BBC website, the way I did it was quite different. Here's the recipe:
You will need:
Scales
100gr butter (melted)
50gr sugar (caster sugar)
50ml clear lemon honey (or whichever flavour honey you have stored in your cupboard)
200gr and 7oz Porridge oats
Handful of chocolate chips (depending if you want them in)
Method:
*Heat the butter for 30 seconds in the microwave
*Preheat the oven to 200*c, 400*f, gas mark 6.
*Weigh out 200gr 7oz dry porridge oats in your bowl over the top of the melted butter.
*Follow with your 50ml of Honey and 50gr caster sugar (brown sugar would be preferable)
*Drop in a handful of chocolate chips (if you don't want the chocolate chips in, just mix the plain recipe the plain way)
*Mix it together.
*Spoon it into a silver tin and flatten it down
*Put it on to the baking tray
*Leave to cook in the oven for 10-30 minutes
*When cool, put it in the bag and leave it for later
*Whenever it suits you, eat it!
*REMEMBER: If you don't want any chocolate chips in, just mix it in as you would a plain fairy cake mixture*
