Cheese pasties or Apple Charlotte?

Today in catering a very new idea was thought into the heads of Christine Clark and Diane White. They suggested (wether I wanted to or not) I make an apple charlotte and then, because I'm in catering til 12:15pm, I was also asked to make myself cheese pasties to take home. With grated cheese. (mind you this is not for useless cooks). Follow up the recipes below:

FOR THE CHEESE PASTIES:
*
Grated cheese
*Egg wash

Method:
1. Grate the cheese
2. Roll the pastry into a square shape
3. Roll the pastry over once the cheese is inside, covering the cheese
4. Splash the tops with egg wash
5. Put on a baking tray and leave to cook

FOR THE APPLE CHARLOTTE:
*
1 Apple
*1 peeler
*225gr plain flour
*225gr margarine
*225gr sugar

Method:
1. Peel the apple with either a knife or peeler, turning it round as you peel. Start off with the apple in quarters, then gradually cut it into bits.
2. Once you've cut the apple into bits, fill a bowl with water and put the bits of the apple into the bowl of water.
3. Leave your apple bits in the bowl of water while you roll the pastry.
4. In your main bowl, weigh out 225gr plain flour to start with. Then follow with 225gr margarine, then follow with 225gr brown sugar.
5. Knead it with your hands until it's like pastry, then put in the egg (sorry, you also need 1 egg in the recipe, too)
6. Beat the egg with a spoon and mix
7. Line your tray with the pastry.
8. Put in the wet apples
9. Put the sponge on top, covering the apples.
10. Leave to cook for 2-5 minutes on a baking tray
11. Then comes the best bit - Eat it or leave for later.

Hope this recipe is helpful, it's took hours to remember and compile!
